ABSTRACT
Child abuse is a worldwide medical-social-legal problem. For child abuse to develop, the existence of a «special» minor and an «aggressor» adult, combined with a «trigger» is needed. A victim can have different clinical manifestations classified in visible and invisible. Each case suspicion, diagnosis and comprehensive care, must be performed by an interdisciplinary team. Each case must pass through a differential diagnosis in order to avoid any errors that could cause terrible consequences. This team’s basic function should be interdisciplinary, interinstitutional and international.
