ABSTRACT

The Spanish physician Rafael Lorente de Nó is an important personage in the development of the history and knowledge of the Nervous System. This paper does not deal with his scientific achievements, it is centered in his personal reflective thoughts and feelings in that field, based in innumerable conversations between Dr. Rafael Lorente de Nó and the author of this paper.
