ABSTRACT
Surgical dermabration has been used for years in dermatology and its popularity has increased in the last
decade.
The platelet rich plasma is an autologous preparation that can be used in both acute and chronic wounds. It is
obtained by patient blood centrifugation.
The use of autologous platelet gel as a wound sealant improves the regeneration and accelerates the epithelization.
It is a safe and effective method that gives good and satisfactory results in patients.
