ABSTRACT
Background: Androgenetic alopecia is the most frequent cause in the world of baldness in men as in women.
The definitive treatment is hair transplant. This is low risk surgery, performed as an ambulatory surgical
procedure with local anesthesia.
Objetive: We present the surgical technique using local anestesia to demonstrate this low risk surgery.
Method: We describe the surgery technique and present the use of different sizes of hair grafts.
Conclusion: We conclude that the different size of hair grafts offers better results in this ambulatory procedure
with low risks, similar to others local anesthesia surgeries.
