Steroid-myopathy. A case review which developed in a female patient with leucocytoclastic vasculitis

ABSTRACT

We report a case of a female patient with leucocytoclastic vasculitis, who developed acute steroid-myopathy following high dose of metilprednisolone. The patient was managed conservatively and improved four months later. We review the mechanisms of steroid-induced myopathy.
