ABSTRACT
Commander Ernesto "Che" Guevara defined a leader as:
"... An individual who has achieved sufficient political development to be able to
interpret the guidelines from a central government and making it his and
transmitting guidance to the masses. He is an individual of ideological and
administrative discipline, who knows and practices democratic centralism and
knows how to value the contradictions in the method to maximize its many facets;
someone knows practicing in production the principle of collective discussion and
decision and responsibility unique, whose loyalty is tested and whose physical and
moral courage has developed to the beat of his ideological development; someone
always ready to face any debate and for the smooth running of the Revolution. It is
also an individual who make right decisions and practices creative initiatives so as
not conflict with discipline. ...This kind of leader is then a creator, a high standing, technician with a good political level that can carry forward his/her
production sector or guide the masses from his position of political leadership."
