ABSTRACT
Vitiligo and psoriasis are chronic skin disorders with a world
prevalence of 2% and 3%, respectively. In 1982 Koransky and
Roenigk reported 25 vitiligo cases associated to psoriasis. In the
great majority of the cases vitiligo preceded the onset of psoriasis.
We report a 44 year-old male patient with a 17 years history
of psoriasis before the onset of vitiligo, and coexistence of
some of both typical lesions. We discuss epidemiology, clinical
features and different physiopathological theories.
