ABSTRACT
Twenty nine cases were reported with tiny fingertips’ hematomas
in diabetic patients due to continuous glucose measurements
with a needle pricking. We emphasize that the best way
to obtain blood samples is by using a lancet in an automatic
device on specific sites to avoid hematomas.
