ABSTRACT
Objective: To design study guides for the subject Language and Communication II in order to improve the students'learning process from the Specialty Spanish Language for Non-Spanish Speakers. Development: One of the priorities to increase the quality of non-Spanish-speaking students is the study of Language and Communication II. Study guides are a didactic tool reflecting the social demands of a renewing education and it is a challenge for all the performers involved in the pedagogical process. The experience from the implementation of the new paradigm in the teaching-learning process at the University of Havana in the School for Non-Spanish Speaking students revealed the problems associated to the educativel renewal which needs to be solved to increase the quality in the coming years. Conclusions: Learning Language and Communication II has turned to be significant in the integral formation of students as it provides the means and linguistic contents required to understand and express the communicative functions by means of which teaching is conducted. Nevertheless, when analyzing the different theoretical stances it is observed that the existing limitations in this regard are due to the existence of few antecedents on the preparation and application of study guides. The latter takes into consideration, in its structure and conception, the necessary actions for its development, in addition to the experiences, needs and interests of the students.REFERENCES
