Genetic hair disorders: A Review

ABSTRACT

Genodermatosis constitute a group of very heterogeneous affections whose main clinical manifestations reside in the skin and its annexes. As a common element they have their genetic conditioning.
Due to their low frequency, they seem to be very rare compared with other skin diseases, but considered as a group, they are an important contribution to the pediatric dermatology.
There are many dermatologic illnesses with genetic origin. Genodermatosis with hair and nails alterations are an importante group.
