ABSTRACT
Eruptive vellus hair cyst (EVHC) is a benign, infrequent affliction
considered an anomaly of the hair follicle. Characterized by the
appearance of numerous asymptomatic macules or papules,
EVHC is so often associated with steatocystoma multiplex some
authors describe them as components of the same entity.
We report a case of EVHC with acquired intradermal melanocytic
nevus, a rare association whose closest description was
documented in 1977 by Esterly et al. describing the association
of EVHC and congenital melanocytic nevus.
