ABSTRACT
The most common skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma is a
slow-growing malignant tumor, with minimal metastatic risk.
And while giant basal cell carcinoma is a rare and aggressive
form of bad prognosis, it represents only 1% of all cases. However,
various authors have recently proposed the term “super
giant basal cell carcinoma” to describe lesions exceeding 20 cm.
in diameter.
This is the case report presenting with a 9 year-old right
inguinal ulcer, ultimately diagnosed as “super giant basal cell
carcinoma”.
