ABSTRACT
Candidiasis is a group of primary or secondary mycoses caused
by various species of opportunistic yeasts of the
Candida genus,
especially
Candida albicans.
These are the results of a retrospective, cross-sectional epidemiological
study implemented by the mycology section of a
general hospital, in order to characterize the case mix of the
January 2006-July 2012 period.
