ABSTRACT
The high temperatures achieved by lasers could potentially
eradicate mycoses by inhibiting growth, damaging and killing
fungi.
Given the paucity of research in this area, the authors designed
and conducted a descriptive, open, quasi-experimental,
prospective and longitudinal study to evaluate laser treatment
in a population of patients with onychomycosis.
