ABSTRACT

It was carried out a longitudinal prospective research at the "Simón Bolívar" Health Technology School from Pinar del Río. The objective was to measure the students´ knowledge on Sexual Education in the Health Technology majors. To do this, it was applied a questionnaire that was previously endorsed by a group of experts. The population was integrated by 321 students from the main school, being the sample constituted by 179 students from different specialties selected at random. They represented 55.76% of the population. As a result, a great number of students showed an insufficient knowledge on sexuality, taking into account their age, sex, participation in the integration of sexuality topics in the subjects, among others. So it is suggested to continue with the project development to design a curricular syllabus on sexual education for the Health Technology major.
