Clinical Recommendations for Photoprotection in Mexico

ABSTRACT

Sunlight exposure, with its accompanying ultraviolet radiation, are the leading causes of various skin conditions including erythema, hyperpigmentation, photoaging, immunosuppression and cutaneous carcinogenesis.
This paper results from a review by a group of photoprotection specialists who, by means if the Delphi questionnaire, identified current controversies on the subject and issued clinical recommendations for photoprotection in Mexico.
