ABSTRACT
A hernia is a weakness or abnormal apertura in a defined
boundary layer of abdominal wall.
CT may diagnose andominal wall, permit proper surgical
therapy, and lessen the morbidity and mortality
rates of these hernias. Imaging studies may also be useful
in evaluating the obese patient thought to have abdominal
wall hernia or other abdominal wall incisional
hernias.
