ABSTRACT
The workshop "Introduction of advanced techniques of health economics aimed to update the economic model” was held at the Cuban School of Public Health on July 1-2, 2013. The purpose of the workshop wa aimed to strengthen the use of advance techniques for economic analysis from the perspective of teaching and research. Conferences and group discussions were held. The workshop had a virtual part to strengthen the exchange among participants. The activity was ENSAP. The event was attended by ENSAP teachers, health economy master students, professionals from health institutions and professors of economy from Cuban universities. Recommendations were made to develop research and teaching in health economics as well as put emphasis to hold to carry out an assessment workshop for sanitary technologies.
