The cromomicosis is a subcutaneous micosis of chronic evolution that is characterized by the formation of nodules, badges verrucosas and masses tumorales papilomatosas. A 65 year-old masculine patient shows up, with antecedents of having been hard-working agricultural that showed suggestive lesions of cromomicosis in the superior right member. He/she was carried out study micológico of the lesions in the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Hospital Dr. Salvador Allende from Havana. To the direct exam with KOH the typical cells fumagoides were observed; in the cultivation the characteristic colonies of their agents etiológicos were observed. He/she stands out the importance of the precocious diagnosis of the cromomicosis and their impact in the presage of the patients.
