ABSTRACT
The enophthalmos is defined as the discrepancy between the orbital volume and its contents; This balance can be
altered by multiple factors such as herniation and / or
Late kidnapping entrapment of the orbital contents
at the site of the fracture, retrobulbar tissue necrosis,
loss ligament suspension system eyeball and eye socket increase. in this study, it was observed that a complication enophthalmos difficult to correct within the various sequelae of fractures of the orbital floor. We present a series of cases performed at the Maxillofacial Surgery
Specialties Hospital, National Medical Center «Siglo XXI» IMSS, in which we handle enophthalmos as a sequel to trauma floor orbit. For treatment, a stereolithography was used allowed gauge the size of the defect, and thus broken orbital floor was reconstructed. Once made, determine the amount of material to be used and modeled titanium mesh in stereolithography representing less surgical time and clinical improvement of patients.
