ABSTRACT
Thyroplasty is currently the most commonly performed type of laryngeal
framework surgery, and its surgical indications are gradually being
expanded and becoming well known among ENT surgeons around
the world. However, because it is a relatively new technique, its most
frequent complications as well as its revision causes are still a matter of
study. There is still no consensus on its revision or complication rates.
We present a series of cases of revisional medialization laryngoplasty
focusing on its initial technique, its intraoperative findings and the
method(s) used in its correction.
