Criteria for authorship and conflict of interest

ABSTRACT
Copyright is the recognition by the State to all creators of literary and
artistic works, under which grants protection for the author to enjoy
exclusive privileges and prerogatives of personal and economic character.
The study’s authors, who contributed to the design, development
or analysis of their results, are in the position to apply for participation
as the mastermind of it, which can lead to potential conflicts of interest
arising from their participation or payment for generating their contributions
to the work. The corresponding author is one of the authors of the
manuscript, whose main characteristic is to take responsibility for the
integrity of the work, from the begging to its publication. However, the
lead author, whose main characteristic is to take intellectual responsibility
for the work may not necessarily be the corresponding author, but
it is recommended to participate actively in the integrity of the work.
From this context, knowing the transcendental recommended by international
associations such as the International Committee of Medical
Journal Editors and input for what could be the possible conflicts of
interest that may arise from an investigation criteria. Therefore the aim
of this study is to collect the authorship criteria and conflict of interest;
and indicate the responsibility of each author and give a guide to define
each type of author.
