ABSTRACT
Dermatofibroma is a frequent cutaneous neoplasm with slow growth and benign behaviour. There are uncommon clinical variants like atrophic dermatofibroma,
ulcerated dermatofibroma and giant dermatofibroma which may cause diagnostic problems. Excision of the tumor is curative, although
in deep types the removal can be incomplete, predisposing to recurrence. A new case of deep giant dermatofibroma removed by Mohs micrographic
surgery is reported.
