ABSTRACT
Traditionally the automovilistic accidents are involved in most of the cervical spine lesions and the firegun shoot injury are the second cause in frequency. Generally this are stable lesions, however there is a possibility to turn into unstable lesions if the shoot goes trough the spinal cord transversally because it fractures pedycules and facets. There is a big discussion about surgical management versus non surgical treatment of this kind of lesions. Method: This case report includes a literature review, a physical examination of the patient and suggestions about the treatment of this kind of lesions. Results: The patient was successfully interviewed on a two steps surgery, on the first step we look the foreign body transorally and in the second time we did a posterior arthrodesis with sublaminar wiring and bone autology injert.REFERENCES
