ABSTRACT
Lipotransfer is a useful surgical technique to enhance the appearance
of small defects or asymmetries in breasts, resulting from resection of
glandular tissue in diagnosis or treatment of mammary lesions, and in
reconstructions in patients with breast cancer; it is used as an alternative
to familiar options such as implants or reconstruction with autologous
tissue.
We report on a case in which changes resulting from lipotransfer following
resection of a nodule in the left breast due to suspected malignancy
are shown by imaging methods. Finally, the analysis reported a benign
histopathology.
