ABSTRACT
Primary immune thrombocytopenia is known for over a century;
however, the pathophysiological mechanisms are just beginning to
be clarified. The regulatory T cells in immune diseases have a central
role in the pathophysiologic immune thrombocytopenia. Although the
immune imbalance is common in children and adults, there are clinical
differences have not yet been explained. The purpose of this article is
to show my opinion of why even being the same disease, in children it
is more favorable than in adults.
