ABSTRACT

Four cases de rhupus (rheumatoid arthritis and lupus) are reported. Characteristically, all of them had deforming/erosive arthropathy, presence of anti-DNA and/or antinuclear antibodies, high titers of anticyclic citrullinated peptide, and positive rheumatoid factor. Only one case presented nephropathy, serositis, and seizures. Hyperthyroidism preceded rhupus (Case 2) and timoma was detected in case 4.
