ABSTRACT
It has become clear that infertility sometimes preceded by a genital infection, identifying
Chlamydia trachomatis
and
Mycoplasma as responsible for complications in the reproductive area and perinatal health.
Current treatment recommendations are reviewed and the focus for those who do not improve with initial treatment,
and to address specific problems such as the treatment of a woman with recurrent culture positive for
Ct or
Mycoplasma, treatment during pregnancy, risk newborns infected and the risk of reinfection, all within a reproductive
and perinatal plane.
