ABSTRACT
Performed assessment of patients with diagnosis of Myofascial Pain
Syndrome, served in the Oral and Maxillofacial Service, with Visual
Analogue Scale (VAS) and the Index of Functionality with the Modified
Oswestry Question for 4 weeks, to obtain a sample of 20 female
patients, they were served in the outpatient clinic with diagnosis of
Chronic Miofascial Pain Syndrome of more than 3 months of duration.
Clinically with presence of muscle strips and / or trigger points, with
a partial response to conservative treatment. In a period from 1 March
2012 to 28 February 2013.
