ABSTRACT
Cataract is the most common
cause of visual impairment in
the elderly population; however
this decreased vision is slow and
progressive, so that the history
of this patient was vital for the
detection of non- ocular causes
of poor vision, means type of
cortical blindness. Clearly in
this case cataract surgery in
both eyes have been carried
out, the patient would not
havefelt improvement in their
visual disorder and may have
generated a case of malpractice
by dissatisfaction offered to
have erred in the cause of visual
impairment services.
