ABSTRACT
Inflammatory bowel disease is
a chronic idiopathic intestinal
inflammation. The two main
types are ulcerative colitis (UC)
and Crohn’s disease. The most
common age of onset is between
15 and 30 years, with a second
peak between 60 and 80 years,
with men crohn’s disease with
the highest incidence. The
following literature review will
be learning more about the
disease bowel.
