ABSTRACT
The purpose of this publication is to show our experience in the management of a patient who was submitted to laparoscopic
colecistectomy having biliary malformation not detected during operation and who presented some complications during
her post-operatory.
Place: Hospital Juárez de México. We report the case of a female patient 34 years old who was
submitted to laparoscopic colecistectomy having evolution to biliary fistula not solved spontaneously, secondary to
malformation of the biliary tree in which the biliary alteration was not in communication to the main biliary tree. The
medical problem was solved by tissue glue application to the affected biliary tree having a prolonged hospital stay as
consecuence of other medical complications (pancreatitis, retroperitoneal sepsis). The problem is solved without
reintervention by this technique. We comment the complications aroused during the management and the mechanism by
which they were solved.
