ABSTRACT
The different deficiencies of micronutrients which are detected in the intestinal malabsorption trend to produce osteoarticular symptoms as the only clinic expression of the same. It is the result of an important loss of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, among others which are necessary for the metabolism of the connective tissue. Notwithstanding, in several occasions these symptoms are not only the result of such lacks, there are other pathologies which concur in time with malabsorption. A reference is made in this revision to several pathologies which due to their frequency in gastroenterological and rheumatism consultation, should be taken in consideration when facing such situations.
