ABSTRACT

It is important to distinguish from the different thyroid cancer types. These tumors have different epidemiology, risk factors, natural history, and treatment. The papillary carcinoma is the most frequently thyroid carcinoma, the second in frequency is the folliculary carcinoma. We present a case of an old male patient with asymptomatic left thyroid nodule.
