Blood levels behaviour of Y-Glutamyltransferase and C-Reactive Protein in patients with Chronic kidney disease

ABSTRACT
The Chronic Kidney Disease is a severe problem of health. A descriptive observational study was carried out with the aim to determine the blood levels behaviour of Y-Glutamyltransferase and C Reactive Protein in patients with presumptive diagnosis of chronic Kidney Disease, that
assisted to outpatient services of Central laboratory from Polyclinic of Specialties in Ciego de Ávila. A comparison of glomerular filtration was carried out using the Cockcroft–Gault equations and using two measurement systems of serum creatinine. The results showed a significant relation between levels diminished of glomerular filtration and increased of YGlutamyltransferase and the C Reactive Protein. Besides It showed differences between the glomerular filtration estimation using two methods of serum creatinine.
