ABSTRACT
Nevoxanthoendothelioma or Juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) is an uncommon non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Xanthogranulomas may be found in normolipemic people, and they occur more frequently in children than in adults. They may be single or multiple, the multiple variety is found more frequently in children, and is characterized by regressing cutaneous nodules (most often on the head and neck) sometimes associated with deep soft tissues nodules. Extracutaneous sites may be involved, particularly the eye. The prognosis is excellent. The authors present two cases, one of a 3 year old boy and another of a 3 year old girl with multiple juvenile xanthogranuloma.
