ABSTRACT
The knowledge about low birth weight was studied among 12 pregnant women of policlinic Himmy Hirzel, in the Bayamo municipality, province of Granma, from February to June, 2012. Trough a survey it was proved the initial lack of information on this topic of almost all the participants, a table game was used that allowed learning and made it pleasant. Different situations were development together with chats and group dynamics on low birth. After some months of educative work a considerable improvement of knowledge about this topic was attained. We demonstrated the importance and availability of practical, didactic, and participative methods to increase the understanding of this problem so frequent in risk group.REFERENCES
