ABSTRACT
The development of skills in the use of information and communication technologies is one of the major challenges facing health professionals nowadays. This challenge is not only relevant to modern diagnostic techniques offered by large corporations, which are widely present in the specialties with research activity; it is also of great importance in the field of medical education. The use of the Internet, interactive educational software and simulators has proven to be an effective tool in the teaching-learning process in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Many universities advocate incorporating skills into their curricula that facilitate dealing with the challenge posed by this technological explosion. Medical universities must be prepared for this in the future.REFERENCES
