ABSTRACT
A 59-year-old white female patient, of rural origin was presented in this paper with a history of type 1 diabetes mellitus with insulin treatment (15 units at breakfast, lunch and dinner). She also suffered from high blood pressure, treated with captopril (25 mg every eight hours). The patient had hypogastric abdominal pain, radiated to septic lumbar (six months duration), moderate intensity, which was relieved with dipyrone every eight hours and no other symptoms. The patient was studied and underwent surgery. An uterine primary lipoleiomyoma was diagnosed, considered a rare benign neoplasia reported in the literature.REFERENCES
