ABSTRACT

A descriptive, longitudinal and prospective study of 40 patients with uncontrolled hypertension, assisted in the emergency room of Dr. "Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" Teaching General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba was carried out from September to December, 2012, aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the floral therapy in the treatment of these patients, for which the rescue remedy was used. A certain percentage was used as summary measure. Leaders and professionals as well as the patients classified as hypertensive degree II and III prevailed in the case material. After 60 minutes of applying the therapy it was verified that 93.0% of those affected had stabilized blood pressure and also, there was a significant improvement of the accompanying symptoms.
