Current status on the approach and management of the burned patient

ABSTRACT
In recent decades there has been good progress in the care of burned patients, highlighting the effort made by organized primary care teams which are aimed at improving survival rates and quality of life of this particular group of patients. Patients with severe burns are unique, representing one of the most serious models of the trauma patient, and therefore require the best specialist in human and material resources for the comprehensive management of such complex patients. The aim of this paper is review current concepts related to evaluation and management of burn patient.
