ABSTRACT
A descriptive investigation was carried out to determine the behavior of some morphometic variables in tomographic images of patients passed away with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhages. These variables are: injury volume, elliptical form factor of injury and circular form factor of the same. For the images analysis the Cuban program MADIP was used version 4.0 from 2005; the data were collected and introduced in a data base and processing statistically with the statistical utilitarian SPSS version 11.5. Among the main results masculine sex and the ages groups between 60 and 69 years were the predominant. 64.72% of patients presented a volume of intracerebral hemorrhage superior to 30 cm3. The totality of the patients presented the elliptical form factor below 0.6; this allows that tomographic images of this affection have an elliptical or extended form. It reached the conclusion that whichever greater is the volume of the hemorrhage, and more elliptical it is its form, the prognosis of patient will be worse.REFERENCES
