ABSTRACT
Introduction: the complexity of processes which taken place in health institutions and the high social responsibility in this sector, require the implementation of management systems. It will warrant a high quality level of provided services and effectiveness of the organization.Objective: to show the link between quality management and internal control as assurance of the academic process success.
Material and Method: for the design of the management system for the success of the academic process academic process, there were used the following research techniques: observation and content analysis of documents.
Results: the determination of the threads affecting the academic process, their sequence and interaction allowed proper management of them in order to get the target results. The strategic objective deployment permitted the identification of risks that threaten compliance and the establishment of the necessary actions to reduce these risks to acceptable levels. Indicators are established to assess compliance with the objectives and finally, the effectiveness of the process.
Conclusions: the integrated planning of quality indicators and risk control actions and although the implantation of unified documentation system, made it possible the link between quality management and internal control as a tool for the assurance of the academic process success.
