ABSTRACT
Rhinoplasty represents a gratifying but at the same time challenging procedure in the field of facial aesthetic surgery. The experience of the author and the results of nine years of surgical practice in a total of 750 patients is presented, using basic surgical technique with specific technical details. In most of the cases, autologus cartilage grafts in their different designs were used to achieve the definition and/or projection of the nasal tip, analyzing the indications and advantages of each technique. The results were satisfactory in 97% of the cases, and in 3% refinements or secondary rhinoplasty were required.
