ABSTRACT
The extraction of the third upper molar remains one of the most
common surgical procedures, whereas trans-and postoperative
complications may appear, such as bleeding, pain, bone
fractures, communication sinus, nerve and vascular injury;
exceptionally, displacement of the dental organ towards the
oral facial space may occur, resulting from the application of
incorrect surgical techniques and excessive forces. This paper
reports the clinical case of a female patient of 35 years old, with
a diagnosis of displacement of a third upper molar right towards
the oral facial space. Clinical features, diagnostic approach and
surgical enucleation technique are described as well the patient
is currently in a phase of recovery.
