ABSTRACT
This paper reports the case of a 36-year-old feminine patient, with
history of nasal right obstruction of three years of evolution, slowly
progressive, with yellowish rhinorrea and scanty intermittent epistaxis.
There are described the clinical characteristics, information
of the physical exploration, clinical data and medical-surgical managing.
We searched in the indexed literature and in the not indexed
national literature in Spanish and English. Most of these tumors
behave like benign, but there are cases that have local relapses
and others that behave as sarcomas of soft tissues. The treatment is
surgical; there are reports of use of postsurgical radiotherapy and
preoperatory embolization, which is in controversy.
