ABSTRACT
Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis also called Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a rare condition initially described in Japan. The cause still unknown, viral or autoimmune cause has been suggested. Frequently appears in females between 30 to 40 years old, is known to have a worldwide distribution with a higher distribution between oriental countries. It is an auto-limited disease. We present the case of a patient with axillar histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis in the axillary lymph nodes.
