Anesthetic management of intravenous leiomyomatosis extending to heart chambers

ABSTRACT
Intravenous leiomyomatosis is a rare disease, extending through the inferior vena cava to the right heart chambers. This is a benign tumor which can has serious consequences for their ability to extension to right heart chambers. The first report is by Birch-Hirschfield in 1897. Female is 45 years with a history of uterine leiomyoma three years ago merited treatment with hysterectomy. Consulting for chest pain oppressive present current 6/10, with vagal and adrenergic discharge for a period of 10 min. Which is accompanied by diaphoresis, Echocardiogram was performed, which reported a tumor in the IVC extending to right heart chambers. A case cardiovascular surgery and is scheduled for thoracic and abdominal surgery.
