Factors of dependence in the patient with inadequacy renal functions to the hemodialisis

ABSTRACT
The inadequacy renal functions constitutes a problem of health in Mexico and other countries, being its options of treatment peritoneal dialysis and hemodialisis, in the HGZ #1 of Tepic Nayarit was observed that patient in hemodialisis program he/she believes dependence to the same one. The objective of this study was to detect the dependence factors in the patients with inadequacy renal functions to the hemodialisis during the period January to March 2001.Material and methods: It interviews population in a transversal sample to 100% of patient in hemodialisis program gathering the data for a nurse and psychology student through an interview structured with open questions, exploring inherent factors to illness, treatment, psychological, personal participation of health, also two instruments validated as it was the inventory of IDARE evaluating anxiety and that of BECK depression.
Results: The obtained answers 97% the patients manifested reluctance to another treatment type, they perceive the hemodialisis like a treatment with which have a quick and good improvement of their suffering, to receive treatment singular, human and respectful for the nurse favoring their psychological well-being when treating them as people that require affection, affection and support. It was in 80% anxiety, 40% severe depression.
