ABSTRACT
Hemangioblastoma is the most frequent intraaxial tumor of the posterior cranial fossa in adult population. There are 152 case reports of supratentorial hemangioblastoma that provide an incidence of 1 to 6%. This paper reports the case of a 34-year-old female patient with motor impairment and intermittent signs of frontal syndrome. An intraaxial, interhemispherical, frontal, solid, and highly vascularized tumor with surrounding edema was found. It was surgically excised with a histopathology result positive for capillary hemangioblastoma. Histological and hemodynamic characteristics of the capillary hemangioblastoma are shared with an arteriovenous malformation, for that it should be considered a double pathology, both vascular and tumoral.
